Dryer vents can get build up over time with lint, debris or other obstructions restricting airflow and causing your dryer to work harder to dry clothes. This Inefficiency can lead to longer drying times or having to dry several cycles which will cause you to spend more money monthly on energy bills. You also can cause a dryer fire if you have an overly hot running dryer due to blockage in your dryer vent. With improved air flow, clothes dry faster, reducing the time and energy required for each drying cycle which brings savings to your energy bills. 

Dryer vents are recommended to be cleaned yearly and sometimes twice a year depending on the size of the household and how often you spend doing laundry.  Having this done professionally is recommended due to ensuring you have a clean and clear vent system. 

In most cases it can take an hour or up to 2 hours depending on dryer vent conditions and location of vent. Some can be on the lower level or upper level of the home which we will need to use our ladder to access and can take longer to complete. 

Dryer vent cleaning costs $229 for the service call plus tax. No hidden fees. Parts if needed such as replacement of flex line, vent cap or any fittings are an extra charge on top of the service call for the cleaning. This cost is for one dryer vent and there are no discounts for neighbors. Everyone no matter the area you live in pays the same. If your home has 2 dryer vents in need of cleaning then it will cost the service call x2. If at any time you have questions feel free to call us or talk to our friendly service technician on site. 

We will first do a walk through of the home where the dryer is located and we will typically need access to the back or side of the home in case a ladder is needed to access the vent.  Once we do our initial inspection we will determine what will be needed for the job. We will do a video scope of the vent pipe to see the extent of the build up. We will protect your floor, walls and dryer from damage during our cleaning process. If a ladder is needed we will protect the side of your house. We do use safety harnesses as needed depending on the job. We will first do a test on the dryer to make sure it's operational and to test the air flow coming from the dryer vent. We do take pictures and video during our process but never of the customer or their home for privacy.  We do remove our shoes or wear shoe covers to protect your floor while we are inside your home. We will use a drop cloth to cover your dryer during cleaning as we will need to move your dryer out and disconnect your flex line behind the dryer leading to the venting.  We will fully clean the vent pipe by using our industry standard HEPA Vac System and Blower. We do clean up debris that will be blown outside of the home as well during our vent cleaning. We clean your lint trap and internal areas of the dryer and ventilation system. If we come across a damaged flex line or outer vent cap we will bring it to your attention and give you pricing for replacement. We generally carry extra parts on our trucks. 

For your dryer you would need us if your drying times are much longer, clothes & dryer are hotter than normal, your smelling a burning smell or your vent outside looks to be full of lint.
